Abstract:  These files contain comprehensive financial data for New York State school districts. The data contains the total assets, liabilities, and revenues information. In detail, the variables include: total fund equity, deferred revenues, other sources of revenue, tax information, property information, forfeitures, federal aid sources, expenditures broken down by category, operation and maintenance costs, contractual expense, instruction administration and development costs, teacher salary information, program expenses, school library costs, computer costs, pupil services costs, transportation costs, BOCES costs, investments, employee benefits expenses, debt servicing costs, and health services costs.
