CISER COMPUTING HELPDESK POLICY:
CISER Computing Consulting Services are free to Cornell faculty, staff, and students engaged in social and economic research, and also others as time allows. Our consultants are available to help you with data access, data manipulation, program logic, program syntax and de-bugging, as well as database conversions, and file transfers across computing platforms. However, to be fair to all, and to follow the directives of the Deans who support CISER, we must limit the amount of time we spend with each client on any particular task or problem. Our policy is to help you do your own computing, rather than do it for you.
