Day of Data 2020: Call for Proposals

Day of Data

Has collaboration impacted the way you work with data? The Research Data Management Service Group is excited to invite you to submit a presentation proposal highlighting how you make your data work for collaborative research.

An annual all-day symposium, the Day of Data is where Cornell’s data community—faculty, researchers, and students—come together to share experiences, find solutions to data-related problems, learn new tools and techniques, and network with peers and experts from across the university.

This year’s Day of Data theme is “Scholarship through Collaboration.” Planned for Tuesday, October 13*, the event will be entirely virtual and will include presentations, lightning talks, poster sessions, discussion panels and workshops. If you’re using data and have collaborated within a lab, between related areas of study, or across disciplines, we’d love to hear from you.

Please visit the Day of Data website for more information, and submit a proposal to present your own experiences or ideas (deadline: August 17, 5pm EDT).  Direct any questions to

*NOTE that the event date is subject to change based on the final 2020-2021 academic calendar.
