Day of Data 2021

Day of Data 2021

Has collaboration impacted the way you work with data? The Research Data Management Service Group (RDMSG) is excited to invite you to submit a presentation proposal highlighting how you make your data work for collaborative research to the Cornell Day of Data 2021 symposium. The deadline for submission is November 25, 5:00 p.m. EDT.

Day of Data is where our university’s data community—faculty, researchers, and students—come together to share experiences, find solutions to data-related problems, learn new tools and techniques, and network with peers and experts from across the university. This year’s theme is “Scholarship through Collaboration.” Scheduled over two days,  January 27-28, 2021, the event will be entirely virtual and will include presentations, lightning talks, poster sessions, discussion panels, and workshops. If you’re using data and have collaborated within a lab, between related areas of study, or across disciplines, we’d love to hear from you. Students, both grad and advanced undergrad, are encouraged to submit a proposal: Day of Data is a great way to gain presentation and public speaking experience in a high-visibility academic setting.

Please visit the Day of Data website for more information, and submit a proposal to present your own experiences or ideas or register to attend the event.  Direct any questions to
