The FSRDC Executive Committee met today and we received the following update:
The Federal Statistical Research Data Centers (FSRDCs) are closed until further notice, effective today, March 16, 2020, at 5:00 pm PT.
FSRDC researchers may not enter any FSRDC facility until they are informed the facility has reopened. Active research projects will be paused and restarted when operations resume.
FSRDC staff are teleworking and available to receive new research project proposals and complete previously submitted requests.
The Baruch RDC had previously closed, and now the Cornell and Yale RDCs will also be closing. We regret that the virus situation has forced the FSRDC Executive Committee to take this necessary action. Note that the 5:00 pm deadline is in Pacific Time Zone, so that means 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
