National Study of the Changing Workforce

The CISER Data Archive and the CCSS have recently acquired access to the National Study of the Changing Workforce for 2008 and 2016. The NSCW, originally conducted by the Family & Work Institute (FWI) and now a project of SHRM, is a major study of the U.S. workforce, examining employees’ lives both on and off the job. NSCW is the only ongoing, nationally representative survey of a large sample of U.S. workers. In addition, studies are available from the CISER Data Archive back to 1992.

The data are available to the entire Cornell community (enrolled students, staff, faculty, and researchers). These data may not be distributed to third parties.
