To open SPSS on a research server, click on:

Start -> All Programs ->IBM SPSS Statistics -> IBM SPSS Statistics

Alternatively,  click on Start -> type “SPSS” in the “Search programs and files” box -> click on IBM SPSS Statistics

In SPSS, to open a data file, click on:

File -> Open -> Data

In SPSS, to open a SPSS program file, click on:

File -> Open -> Syntax
